STAGE 15 : Champagnole > Plateau de Solaison

The eve of the second rest day, the Plateau de Solaison promises another truth-telling day. The start from Champagnole allows time to build a breakaway, but the finish will put the climbers back in the spotlight. After the Croisette and the final difficulties, the climb to Solaison will offer a brutal terrain to separate the general classification contenders. Riders in form can strike hard, while fatigued bodies will mainly seek to survive until the rest day.
